PP2A-B56-β Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PP2A-B56-β protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PP2A-B56-β (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PP2A-B56-β protein plays a crucial role in cellular processes through involvement in the protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) complex, which dephosphorylates serine and threonine residues on target proteins. This dephosphorylation maintains cellular homeostasis, regulates cell division, and controls apoptosis, making PP2A-B56-β an essential player in various signaling pathways. PP2A-B56-β includes a regulatory subunit that interacts with the catalytic subunit of PP2A, determining substrate specificity and overall phosphatase complex activity.
