SEE ALSO...

PP2A-B55 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PP2A-B55 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PP2A-B55 monoclonal antibody (D-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PP2A-B55 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by regulating phosphorylation state of various substrates, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and controlling processes such as cell division and apoptosis. PP2A-B55 is part of the protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) family, a major serine/threonine phosphatase involved in dephosphorylating proteins, thereby counteracting kinase action. B55 regulatory subunit family, which includes four isoforms (α, β, γ, and δ), influences substrate specificity and catalytic activity of PP2A complex, making PP2A-B55 vital for precise regulation of signaling pathways. PP2A-B55 interaction with various proteins, including kinases and other phosphatases, underscores PP2A-B55′s importance in cellular signaling networks and highlights potential as a therapeutic target in diseases characterized by dysregulated phosphorylation, such as cancer.

Are there any issues with using sc-365282: PP2A-B55 (D-10) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-365282 conjugates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best one that I found thus far.it can strongly detect both over-expressed and endogenous B55 alpha. It also strongly detects over-expressed B55 delta and weakly detects over-expressed B55 beta. It neither detects over-expressed B55 gamma nor over-expressed B56 subunits.
