SEE ALSO...

PP2A-Aα/β Antibody (4G7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PP2A-A alpha / beta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. PP2A-Aα/β (4G7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PP2A-A protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by acting as a serine/threonine phosphatase, which is essential for regulation of numerous cellular processes such as cell division, apoptosis, and maintaining cellular homeostasis. PP2A-A functions by dephosphorylating target proteins, thereby reversing kinase action and ensuring balanced phosphorylation within cells. This regulatory function controls various signaling pathways, including those involved in cancer progression and other diseases. PP2A family consists of several subunits, including PP2A-Aα and PP2A-Aβ, which can associate with different regulatory subunits to form a trimeric holoenzyme, highlighting complexity and versatility of regulatory mechanisms. Understanding PP2A-A interactions and functions is essential for elucidating roles in health and disease, making PP2A-Aα/β (4G7) antibody a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
