    SEE ALSO...

POSH Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects POSH protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). POSH (E-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. POSH, which stands for "plenty of SH3s," plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by interacting with small GTPases such as Rho, Rac, and Cdc42, which are essential for actin cytoskeleton dynamics. These GTPases function as molecular switches, toggling between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states, and their activation leads to significant rearrangements of filamentous actin, resulting in the formation of actin stress fibers. POSH specifically binds to the GTP-bound form of Rac, facilitating the activation of downstream signaling pathways, including c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) and nuclear factor kappa B (NFkB), which are pivotal in regulating cell survival and apoptosis. POSH′s ability to modulate these pathways underscores its importance in various cellular processes, including cell migration, proliferation, and apoptosis, making POSH a valuable target for research in cancer and other diseases.
