POLDIP3 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects POLDIP3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). POLDIP3 (G-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. POLDIP3, also known as polymerase delta-interacting protein 3, SKAR, or PDIP46, is a crucial 421 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a significant role in DNA replication, recombination, and repair by interacting with DNA polymerase delta 2. This interaction is vital for maintaining genomic stability, as DNA polymerase delta is essential for synthesizing the lagging strand during DNA replication. Additionally, POLDIP3 is a substrate for the signaling intermediate Rsk-1, which is implicated in regulating cell growth and proliferation. POLDIP3 features one RNA recognition motif (RRM) domain and undergoes phosphorylation in response to DNA damage, highlighting POLDIP3′s role in cellular stress responses. POLDIP3 is ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels found in heart, kidney, skeletal muscle, and brain, and exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, further emphasizing POLDIP3′s functional diversity in various biological contexts.
