SEE ALSO...

plexin-C1 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects plexin-C1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-plexin-C1 antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. plexin-C1 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and is involved in the regulation of neuronal development and guidance, making plexin-C1 essential for proper nervous system function. plexin-C1 acts as a receptor for semaphorins, which are key molecules in axon guidance and cell migration, thereby influencing the formation of neural circuits. The interaction of plexin-C1 with semaphorins is vital for the establishment of the nervous system architecture, and dysregulation of this pathway can lead to neurological disorders. Plexins, including plexin-C1, are characterized by their large transmembrane structure, which allows plexin-C1 to transmit extracellular signals into the cell, further emphasizing plexin-C1′s importance in cellular communication and development.

I am wondering if this antibody can be used for flow cytometry applications, or for FACS (where cells are not fixed and permealized). Thank yoU!

Asked by: sfmaddox
Thank you for your question. This antibody has not been tested for FACS analysis, so we can not recommend it for that use. It may work great, but we are not sure. If you would like to try a sample of this antibody, please contact Technical Service by phone, (800)-457-3801 option 2, email <scbt@scbt.com>, or by live chat directly on our website, www.scbt.com.
