SEE ALSO...

plexin-B1 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects plexin-B1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-plexin-B1 antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. plexin-B1 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in neuronal development and guidance, serving as a receptor for semaphorins, which regulate cell movement and positioning during embryogenesis and tissue remodeling. plexin-B1′s interaction with semaphorins guides axon development and establishes neural networks, making plexin-B1 essential for normal nervous system function. plexin-B1 also influences immune responses and cancer progression, highlighting plexin-B1′s significance in both health and disease. Understanding plexin-B1′s function and signaling mechanisms can provide insights into therapeutic targets for neurological disorders and cancer treatment.

Can I use this mouse monoclonal antibody for immunohistochemical staining of mouse tissue? Or even double or triple staining on the same samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes. We recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is currently available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-28372 PE), fluorescein (sc-28372 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-28372 AF488) or Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-28372 AF647). Please contact Technical Service if you have further questions concerning this product.
