SEE ALSO...

PLEKHA5 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PLEKHA5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PLEKHA5 antibody (E-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PLEKHA5, also known as pleckstrin homology domain containing, family A member 5, KIAA1686, or PEPP2, is a 1,116 amino acid protein characterized by one pleckstrin homology (PH) domain and two WW domains, which are critical for protein-protein interactions. PLEKHA5 is predominantly expressed in kidney and heart tissues, highlighting a potential role in cardiovascular and renal functions. PLEKHA5 participates in cellular signaling pathways that regulate cell growth and differentiation, making PLEKHA5 essential for maintaining normal physiological processes. The gene encoding PLEKHA5 is located on human chromosome 12, a region associated with various skeletal deformities and crucial transcription factors for morphogenesis, underscoring PLEKHA5′s importance in developmental biology and disease.
