Datasheets
  • PKDCC Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ PKDCC antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 210-232 within an internal region of PKDCC of human origin
  • recommended for detection of PKDCC of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • At present, we have not yet completed the identification of the preferred secondary detection reagent(s) for PKDCC Antibody (G-10). This work is in progress.

    SEE ALSO...

PKDCC Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects PKDCC protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PKDCC antibody (G-10) is available as the non-conjugated form. PKDCC protein, also known as protein kinase-like protein SgK493, sugen kinase 493, or vertebrate lonesome kinase, consists of 493 amino acids and belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. PKDCC (G-10) antibody targets a protein primarily located in the Golgi apparatus, where PKDCC plays a crucial role in protein transport to the plasma membrane, essential for maintaining cellular function and communication. PKDCC protein is involved in ATP binding, nucleotide binding, protein kinase activity, and transferase activity, all vital for various cellular processes, including regulation of chondrocyte differentiation necessary for longitudinal bone growth. PKDCC gene is conserved across several species, including chimpanzees, dogs, mice, rats, and zebrafish, and PKDCC protein is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues. While PKDCC has been suggested to be associated with atopy and asthma in atopic individuals, studies involving murine PKDCC knockouts reveal extreme phenotypes that don′t correlate with atopy or asthma, indicating a potential additional role in abnormal respiratory functions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514504 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
