PICK1 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PICK1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PICK1 (D-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Protein interacting with C kinase 1 (PICK1) is a PDZ-domain containing protein that plays a crucial role in synaptic transmission by anchoring the α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-isoxazole-4-propionic acid (AMPA) receptor at excitatory synapses. This localization ensures proper functioning of synaptic signaling, essential for processes such as learning and memory. PICK1′s interaction with the carboxy terminus of AMPA receptor highlights its importance in modulating synaptic strength and plasticity, thereby influencing neuronal communication.
