PI31 Antibody (26) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PI31 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-PI31 antibody (26) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose and horseradish peroxidase (HRP). PI31 protein, also known as Proteasome inhibitor PI31 subunit, plays a crucial role in regulating proteasome activity, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis through the degradation of misfolded or damaged proteins. This 271 amino acid protein is particularly notable for its proline-rich C-terminal domain, where nearly 25% of the amino acids are proline, contributing to structural stability and functional versatility.
