PI 4-kinase β Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PI 4-kinase beta (PI4KB) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PI4KB antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PI4KB plays a crucial role in lipid signaling pathways by converting phosphatidylinositol into phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate, which is a key precursor for the synthesis of other phosphoinositides. These phosphoinositides are vital for cellular processes such as membrane trafficking, cytoskeletal dynamics, and signal transduction. Proper functioning of PI4KB is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating various signaling cascades, including those involved in cell growth and survival.
