    SEE ALSO...

PDZK1 Antibody (42) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects PDZK1 in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). PDZK1 contains four PDZ domains, which are essential for functioning as a scaffolding protein that organizes various signaling complexes at the plasma membrane of epithelial cells. This localization enables anti-PDZK1 antibody (42) to interact with multiple ion channels and receptors simultaneously, facilitating the coordination of cellular signaling pathways. PDZK1′s role as an adaptor between different cell surface receptors is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating ion transport, which is critical for numerous physiological processes. PDZK1 (42) monoclonal antibody has revealed increased expression in human carcinomas of epithelial origin, suggesting involvement in tumor progression and potential contribution to multidrug resistance in cancer therapy. By studying PDZK1, researchers may uncover new strategies to combat chemoresistance in cancer cells, making PDZK1 (42) antibody an invaluable tool for studies focused on cancer biology and therapeutic resistance.

I am using PDZK1 (42): sc-136028 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
