PDI Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PDI (C-5) antibody recognizes a crucial protein involved in folding and maturation of newly synthesized proteins within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). PDI monoclonal antibody (C-5) targets a protein essential for catalyzing thiol-disulfide exchange reactions, which are vital for proper formation of disulfide bonds and protein stability. Anti-PDI antibody (C-5) identifies a protein responsible for preventing misfolding and aggregation, processes that can lead to various diseases.
