PDE9A Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects phosphodiesterase 9A (PDE9A) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PDE9A is a 593 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in signal transduction by regulating intracellular concentration of cyclic nucleotides, particularly exhibiting a high affinity for cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This regulation is vital as PDE9A influences various physiological processes, including smooth muscle relaxation, neuronal signaling, and cardiac function. PDE9A is expressed in a variety of tissues, with highest levels found in brain, kidney, spleen, colon, and heart, while notably absent in blood.
