PDE7A1/2 Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PDE7A1/2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PDE7A1/2 (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PDE7A1 and PDE7A2 proteins, which are alternate splice products of the PDE7 gene, play a crucial role in regulating cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels within cells. cAMP is a vital second messenger involved in numerous signaling pathways that control various physiological processes, including metabolism, cell growth, and differentiation. PDE7A1 and PDE7A2 presence in skeletal muscle is particularly significant, as these proteins help modulate muscle contraction and energy utilization, making PDE7A1 and PDE7A2 essential for maintaining muscle function and overall metabolic health. Additionally, the PDE family, which includes these isoforms, is known for tissue-specific roles in regulating critical processes such as lipolysis, glycogenolysis, and smooth muscle relaxation, highlighting PDE7A1 and PDE7A2 importance in both muscle physiology and broader metabolic regulation.
