SEE ALSO...

PCTAIRE-1 Antibody (G6.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PCTAIRE-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-PCTAIRE-1 antibody (G6.1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PCTAIRE-1 plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, functioning as a serine/threonine kinase that is part of a subfamily of cyclin-dependent kinases (Cdks). PCTAIRE-1 is primarily expressed in the mammalian brain and is involved in phosphorylating key substrates that drive cell cycle progression, thereby influencing cellular proliferation and differentiation. PCTAIRE-1 interacts with various proteins, contributing to multiple signaling pathways that are essential for neuronal function and development. Notably, PCTAIRE-1 is located on chromosome 1q32.1 in humans, and expression is closely linked to the regulation of neuronal activity, making PCTAIRE-1 a significant target for studies related to neurodevelopmental processes and potential neurological disorders.
