PC-PLD1 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PC-PLD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PC-PLD1 antibody (F-12) is available as a non-conjugated format. PC-PLD1 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and membrane dynamics, as PC-PLD1 is involved in the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine to produce phosphatidic acid, a key lipid mediator that influences various cellular processes, including cell growth, migration, and differentiation. PC-PLD1 is primarily localized to secretory granules, where PC-PLD1 participates in the regulation of macrophage phagocytosis and is activated by G protein-coupled and receptor tyrosine kinase signaling pathways. Notably, PC-PLD1′s activity is essential for the stimulation of downstream signaling events, such as ERK phosphorylation and IL-8 secretion in bronchial epithelial cells, highlighting PC-PLD1′s importance in inflammatory responses. Additionally, PC-PLD1 and PC-PLD2 work in concert to modulate cellular functions, including the repression of the p21 gene, which may contribute to tumorigenesis through both p53-dependent and p53-independent mechanisms. I have used this antibody to detect PLD1 in A549 cells for WB, but the results (3 experiments) consistently are at about 40KD. What should I do?
