SEE ALSO...

PAXX Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PAXX protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-PAXX antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PAXX plays a crucial role in the DNA damage response, particularly in the repair of double-strand breaks through involvement in the non-homologous end joining pathway. This function is vital for maintaining genomic stability, as failure to properly repair DNA can lead to mutations, cancer, and other genetic disorders. PAXX interacts with other key proteins involved in DNA repair, such as XRCC4 and DNA ligase IV, highlighting importance in the cellular response to DNA damage. Understanding PAXX′s role in these processes can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment and the development of strategies to enhance DNA repair mechanisms.
