SEE ALSO...

Pax-6 Antibody (PAX6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Pax-6 protein of mouse, rat, human, and avian origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Pax-6 antibody (PAX6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Pax-6 plays a crucial role in eye development and is essential for the formation of the eye′s anterior segment, including the cornea and iris. Pax-6 function is vital, as mutations in the Pax-6 gene can lead to severe congenital eye disorders, such as aniridia, characterized by the absence of the iris, which can result in significant vision impairment or blindness. Pax-6 is involved in other anterior segment malformations, including Peters anomaly, which is marked by corneal clouding and various adhesions affecting the eye′s structures. Pax-6 gene encodes a transcriptional regulator that binds to specific DNA sequences through its paired-type DNA-binding domain, which consists of two subdomains that work together to regulate gene expression critical for eye development. Human Pax-6 gene produces two alternatively spliced isoforms, each with distinct structural features that contribute to its regulatory functions.

What secondary is best to use with Pax-6 Antibody (PAX6): sc-81649?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. While most anti-mouse IgG secondary antibodies are appropriate for use with Troponin T-C Antibody (CT3): sc-20025, we recommend using one our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins as a secondary detection reagent. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
