PATZ1 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects PATZ1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PATZ1, also known as POZ (BTB) and AT hook containing zinc finger 1, RIAZ, ZBTB19, ZNF278, or ZSG, is a 687 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation by acting as a transcriptional repressor. Nuclear localization enables PATZ1 to interact with DNA and other nuclear proteins, thereby influencing gene expression. PATZ1 contains a unique combination of functional domains, including one A.T hook DNA-binding domain, one BTB (POZ) domain, and seven C2H2-type zinc fingers, which facilitate binding to specific DNA sequences and recruitment of histone-modifying proteins.
