PATZ1 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects PATZ1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PATZ1 (H-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PATZ1 protein, also known as POZ (BTB) and AT hook containing zinc finger 1, is a 687 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation. PATZ1 contains one A.T hook DNA-binding domain, one BTB (POZ) domain, and seven C2H2-type zinc fingers, which are essential for function in gene expression modulation. The presence of zinc-finger motifs allows PATZ1 to interact with specific DNA sequences, thereby influencing transcription of target genes. This interaction is vital for cellular processes, including differentiation and development, and dysregulation of PATZ1 has been implicated in pathogenesis of various cancers, such as small round cell sarcoma and colorectal cancer. Additionally, multiple isoforms of PATZ1 arise from alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms within cells.

Are there any issues with using sc-393223: PATZ1 (H-2) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-393223 conjugates.
