SEE ALSO...

PARG Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PARG protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-PARG antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PARG protein plays a crucial role in cellular response to DNA damage by regulating turnover of poly(ADP-ribose) polymers, which are synthesized by poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP-1) and other related enzymes. This reversible covalent modification is essential for repair of damaged DNA, as PARG helps modulate activity of chromosomal proteins involved in repair process. Under normal growth conditions, PARG is predominantly localized in cytoplasm and is enzymatically active, undergoing cleavage during apoptosis induced by agents such as etoposide, staurosporine, and Fas. This cleavage generates two C-terminal fragments that retain active site necessary for hydrolyzing poly(ADP-ribose). PARG is expressed as a doublet in standard sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) under normal conditions, and PARG gene is located on human chromosome 10q11.23.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very helpful technical support teamThe antibody doesn't work at first, but Corey helped me figure out the problem by sending me a sample of secondary antibody which recognizes the primary antibody much more effectively. The final blot has clean single band with strong signal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wellWorks mostly as intended. Some nonspecific labeling, but by far, specific labeling overwhelms the nonspecific. Used at 1:300 dilution in PBST. 2 hour block with 5% milk at room temperature, 2 hour PARG antibody at room temperature, 1 hour secondary anti-mouse at room temperature were my conditions.
