SEE ALSO...

PAPSS 1 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PAPSS 1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PAPSS 1 antibody (A-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PAPSS 1 plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of sulfated L-selectin ligands in endothelial cells, which is essential for cell adhesion and signaling processes in the immune response. PAPSS 1 is a bifunctional enzyme that catalyzes two key steps in the sulfate activation pathway, making PAPSS 1 vital for sulfate assimilation in the sulfur metabolism pathway. PAPSS 1 is primarily expressed in the pancreas, liver, testis, thymus, kidney, prostate, ovary, and small intestine, highlighting PAPSS 1′s importance in various physiological processes. Additionally, PAPSS 1 expression is regulated by chlorate inhibition, which can impact PAPSS 1 activity and, consequently, the sulfation processes PAPSS 1 mediates.
