SEE ALSO...

PABPC1L Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PABPC1L of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PABPC1L antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PABPC1L plays a crucial role in mRNA metabolism, particularly in regulating mRNA stability and translation, which is essential for proper gene expression and cellular function. PABPC1L is predominantly located in the cytoplasm, where PABPC1L interacts with mRNA and other RNA-binding proteins, facilitating transport and degradation of mRNA. Understanding PABPC1L dynamics and interactions is vital, as dysregulation of mRNA metabolism can lead to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Additionally, chromosome 20, where PABPC1L gene is located, harbors numerous genes expressed in the epididymis, which are thought to be important for seminal production and may serve as potential targets for male contraception. The presence of the PRNP gene, associated with prion diseases, and other genetic conditions linked to chromosome 20 further underscores the significance of studying PABPC1L in the context of both normal physiology and disease.
