NSFL1C p47 Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NSFL1C p47 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NSFL1C p47 operates as part of a ternary complex with VCP, a protein that is integral to the fusion of transport vesicles with their target membranes, and Syntaxin 5. Through interaction with VCP, NSFL1C p47 modulates ATPase activity, which is critical for the dynamics of Golgi structure during the cell cycle. NSFL1C p47 undergoes phosphorylation during mitosis, a modification that inhibits interaction with the Golgi, thereby ensuring the correct formation and regrowth of Golgi stacks.
