p14 ARF Antibody (ARF 4C6/4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects p14 ARF of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. p14 ARF monoclonal antibody (ARF 4C6/4) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. p14 ARF protein plays a crucial role in regulating the cell cycle by acting as a tumor suppressor, which is vital for preventing uncontrolled cell proliferation that can lead to cancer. p14 ARF is encoded by the CDKN2A gene, which also produces p16 protein, and interacts with MDM2, a negative regulator of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway. Through binding to MDM2, p14 ARF stabilizes p53 levels, promoting cell cycle arrest in both G1 and G2/M phases, which is essential for maintaining genomic integrity. p14 ARF′s ability to modulate these critical pathways underscores p14 ARF (ARF 4C6/4) antibody′s importance in research focused on cell cycle regulation and tumor suppression.
