SEE ALSO...

p-PYK2 Antibody (13.Tyr 402) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects phosphorylated PYK2, specifically at Tyr 402, in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-p-PYK2 antibody (13.Tyr 402) is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. PYK2, or proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the central nervous system where PYK2 is highly expressed. PYK2 is essential for mediating responses to extracellular signals, as PYK2 is rapidly phosphorylated on tyrosine residues, including Tyr 402, in response to stimuli such as heregulin. Phosphorylation at Tyr 402 facilitates the formation of a multiprotein complex that enhances the phosphorylation of p190 RhoGAP by Src, thereby influencing cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular motility. PYK2 contains other important phosphorylation sites, including Tyr 579, Tyr 580, and Tyr 881, which are involved in activation and interaction with signaling molecules, underscoring PYK2′s role as a pivotal regulator in various cellular processes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stron signal and good specifityThe antibody works pretty well, we see nice bands in our positive control (Ramos cells stimulated with anti-IgM antibody) and weak signal in negative control (PYK2-CRISPRed cell line). We use dillution 1:1000 in 5% BSA and store the antibody at +4 °C with 0,02% NaN3.
