p-NF-H Antibody (NAP4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects p-NF-H in mouse, rat, human, and porcine samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. p-NF-H (NAP4) antibody is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. Neurofilament-H, or NF-H, is a crucial component of the neuronal cytoskeleton, playing a significant role in maintaining neuronal structural integrity. NF-H is primarily located in neuronal axons, where NF-H contributes to axon caliber regulation and overall neuronal architecture stability. Proper NF-H functioning is vital for neuronal health, as alterations in expression or phosphorylation status can lead to neurodegenerative conditions such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson′s disease, and Alzheimer′s disease. The dynamic nature of neurofilaments, including interaction with other cytoskeletal elements like microtubules and actin filaments, underscores NF-H importance in neuronal function and pathology. Using anti-p-NF-H antibody (NAP4) in research can provide valuable insights into neurofilament roles in health and disease.
