SEE ALSO...

p-NF-H Antibody (7H11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects neurofilament-H in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-neurofilament-H antibody (7H11) specifically targets neurofilament-H, a crucial component of the neuronal cytoskeleton that plays a significant role in maintaining the structural integrity of neurons. Neurofilament-H is essential for regulating axon caliber, which is vital for proper nerve signal conduction and overall neuronal function. Neurofilament-H′s dynamic nature is underscored by numerous phosphorylation sites, which are targeted by various kinases, including protein kinase A and cyclin-dependent kinase 5. These post-translational modifications are critical as they can influence neurofilament assembly and stability, and alterations in their regulation are often linked to neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Parkinson′s disease, and Alzheimer′s disease. Anti-neurofilament-H antibody (7H11) enables researchers to gain insights into neurofilament-H′s role in both healthy and diseased states, making this antibody an invaluable tool for studying neuronal health and pathology.

Are there any issues with using sc-20015: p-NF-H (7H11) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-20015 conjugates.
