    SEE ALSO...

p-Dynamin I Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Dynamin I in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Dynamin I antibody (E-9) specifically recognizes the phosphorylated form of Dynamin I, a crucial GTPase enzyme that plays a vital role in the retrieval of synaptic vesicles following exocytosis and is essential for endocytosis by promoting the assembly of invaginating synaptic vesicles. Dynamin I (E-9) antibody targets proteins predominantly located in the cytosolic compartment of nerve terminals, where phosphorylation occurs by protein kinase C at a single site, Serine 795. This phosphorylation event influences Dynamin I′s interaction with the SH3 domain of p85, the regulatory subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase, thereby affecting downstream signaling pathways. Notably, Dynamin I dephosphorylation is necessary for effective synaptic vesicle retrieval, indicating that phosphorylation state is critical for determining subcellular localization and functional activity. Dynamin I monoclonal antibody (E-9) provides valuable insights into the regulatory mechanisms of synaptic transmission, making this antibody an essential tool for researchers studying neuronal function and signaling pathways.
