SEE ALSO...

Ovalbumin Antibody (3G2E1D9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ovalbumin protein of avian origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-Ovalbumin antibody (3G2E1D9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ovalbumin, a secreted glycoprotein composed of 385 amino acids, is primarily found in egg white and serves as a crucial storage protein. Ovalbumin′s ability to chelate heavy metals and trap metal ions within its structure makes this protein particularly important in cases of heavy metal poisoning, as Ovalbumin can help mitigate toxicity. Ovalbumin is widely utilized in research, especially in proteomics, where Ovalbumin acts as a molecular weight marker for calibrating electrophoresis gels, and in immunology, where researchers employ Ovalbumin to stimulate allergic reactions in experimental models. Ovalbumin′s unique properties and availability in large quantities make this protein a valuable tool for studying protein structure and function, as well as for various applications in biochemical research.
