SEE ALSO...

OTUD7B Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects OTUD7B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). OTUD7B monoclonal antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. OTUD7B protein, also known as OTU domain-containing protein 7B, ZA20D1, or Cezanne, is an 843 amino acid protein primarily localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm, playing a crucial role in cellular processes. OTUD7B′s ability to hydrolyze branched and linear forms of polyubiquitin, particularly deubiquitinating Lys-48- and Lys-63-linked polyubiquitin chains, is vital for regulating inflammatory response within cells. By modulating ubiquitination status of target proteins, OTUD7B helps maintain cellular homeostasis and influences cell survival, particularly in inflammation contexts. OTUD7B is involved in a negative feedback loop in pro-inflammatory signaling, which suppresses NFκB activity and aids in resolving inflammatory responses. OTUD7B′s structure includes one C-terminal A20-type zinc finger, one OTU domain, and one N-terminal TRAF-binding domain, all essential for deubiquitinating activity and functional interactions with other signaling pathways.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514402 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
