OSMR β Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects OSMR β in mouse samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). OSMR β, also known as oncostatin M receptor β, is a crucial single-pass type I membrane protein composed of 979 amino acids, primarily expressed in neural cells, fibroblasts, and various epithelial tumor lines. Anti-OSMR β antibody (C-7) plays a significant role in studying oncostatin M, a glycoprotein that influences cell growth and differentiation, particularly in hematopoietic cells. The interaction between OSMR β and interleukins is vital for transducing signaling events that can impact cellular responses, making OSMR β an important target for understanding tumor biology and immune responses. Notably, mutations in the gene encoding OSMR β are linked to primary cutaneous amyloidosis, an autosomal dominant condition characterized by chronic skin itching, highlighting the clinical relevance of this protein in disease mechanisms. OSMR β monoclonal antibody (C-7) is an essential tool for researchers investigating the complex roles of this receptor in various biological processes and disease states.

Are there any issues with using sc-376380: OSMR β (C-7) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-376380 conjugates.
