SEE ALSO...

OSMR β Antibody (AN-A2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects OSMR β of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). OSMR β monoclonal antibody (AN-A2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. OSMR β, also known as oncostatin M receptor β, is a critical component in signaling pathways of cytokine oncostatin M, which plays a significant role in regulating cell growth and differentiation, particularly in hematopoietic cells. OSMR β is predominantly expressed in neural cells, fibroblasts, and epithelial tumor lines, where OSMR β forms a heterodimer that interacts with interleukins to transduce signaling events initiated by oncostatin M. OSMR β significance lies not only in mediating oncostatin M effects but also in association with various pathological conditions; mutations in OSMR β gene are linked to primary cutaneous amyloidosis, an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by chronic skin itching. OSMR β ability to influence tumor cell behavior while sparing normal fibroblasts underscores OSMR β potential as a therapeutic target in cancer treatment.
