    SEE ALSO...

ORC4 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ORC4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ORC4 (H-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ORC4 is a vital component of the origin recognition complex (ORC), which is essential for the initiation of DNA replication. ORC4 plays a critical role in forming pre-replication complexes necessary for accurate and timely DNA replication, ensuring genomic stability during cell division. ORC4, along with other ORC subunits, binds to specific origins of replication in the cell nucleus, serving as a scaffold for the assembly of additional initiation factors. Proper functioning of ORC4 is crucial for the G1/S transition in the cell cycle, as ORC4 helps regulate DNA replication timing, thereby preventing errors that could lead to genomic instability or cancer. Consistent expression of ORC4 throughout the cell cycle underscores its importance in maintaining cellular integrity and function.
