    OR5AU1 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects OR5AU1 in human, mouse, and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). OR5AU1 (F-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. OR5AU1, also known as olfactory receptor 5AU1 or OR14-38, is a multi-pass membrane protein consisting of 362 amino acids and belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. OR5AU1 plays a crucial role in the olfactory system by interacting with odorant molecules, which initiates a neuronal response leading to the perception of smell. The olfactory receptor gene family, which includes OR5AU1, is the largest gene family in the human genome, highlighting the complexity and importance of olfactory signaling. The gene encoding OR5AU1 is located on chromosome 14q11.2, a region that houses over 700 genes and is implicated in various genetic disorders, including Alzheimer′s disease and α1-antitrypsin deficiency. Understanding OR5AU1 function and interactions with odorants is vital for elucidating the mechanisms of olfaction and its impact on behavior and health.
