Anti-OA1 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a (kappa light chain) OA1 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 97-126 near the N-terminus of OA1 of mouse origin
Anti-OA1 Antibody (C-6) is recommended for detection of OA1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
Anti-OA1 Antibody (C-6) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

OA1 Antibody (C-6) is a high quality monoclonal OA1 antibody (also designated OA1 antibody) suitable for the detection of the OA1 protein of mouse, rat and human origin. OA1 Antibody (C-6) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-OA1 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-OA1 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. G protein-coupled receptors (GPRs or GPCRs), are members of the largest protein family and play a role in many different stimulus-response pathways. G-protein coupled receptors mediate extracellular signals into intracellular signals (G-protein activation). They respond to a great variety of signaling molecules, including hormones, neurotransmitters and other proteins and peptides. GPR143, also designated ocular albinism type 1 protein (OA1), is detected exclusively in pigment cells. OA1, which is a multi-pass membrane protein, is a melanosomal protein expressed primarily in pigment cells. Defects in the gene encoding for OA1 cause ocular albinism, an X-linked disorder mainly characterized by retinal hypopigmentation and visual impairment.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398602 P appropriate for?
Asked by: jenni
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here:
