NUDT7 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NUDT7 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NUDT7 (E-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NUDT7, also known as nucleoside diphosphate-linked moiety X motif 7, is a 238 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role as a coenzyme A diphosphatase, facilitating the cleavage of coenzyme A into 3′,5′-ADP and 4′-phosphopantetheine, which is vital for various metabolic processes. NUDT7 is localized to the peroxisome, an organelle responsible for lipid metabolism and the detoxification of reactive oxygen species, highlighting NUDT7′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. NUDT7 belongs to the nudix hydrolase family and the PCD1 subfamily, and shows expression in several human tissues, including the heart, spleen, liver, pancreas, pituitary, small intestine, kidney, and placenta. NUDT7 gene is located on human chromosome 16, which harbors over 900 genes and is implicated in various genetic disorders, including giant axonal neuropathy and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. Research on NUDT7 and related interactions remains essential for understanding cellular metabolism and potential implications in disease states.
