NUDT5 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NUDT5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NUDT5 (E-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NUDT5 protein, also known as YSA1, YSA1H, hYSAH1, nudix motif 5, ADP-sugar pyrophosphatase, or HSPC115, is a 219 amino acid protein that belongs to the nudix hydrolase family. NUDT5 plays a crucial role in cellular metabolism by hydrolyzing ADP-ribose and ADP-mannose in the presence of magnesium, as well as exhibiting low activity towards other nucleotide sugars like ADP-glucose and diadenosine diphosphate. NUDT5′s ability to eliminate toxic nucleotide metabolites while preserving essential signaling nucleotides is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing potential cellular damage. NUDT5 is predominantly expressed in the liver, where NUDT5 functions as a homodimer, highlighting its importance in liver metabolism and overall physiological processes.
