NUDT21 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NUDT21 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NUDT21 (F-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NUDT21, also known as CPSF5 (cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor subunit 5) or CFIm25 (cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor 25 kDa subunit), is a crucial member of the Nudix hydrolase family of pyrophosphatases, characterized by a NUDIX domain that facilitates hydrolysis of nucleoside diphosphate derivatives. NUDT21 is primarily located in paraspeckles of the cell nucleus, where NUDT21 plays a vital role in gene expression regulation by participating in cleavage and polyadenylation of pre-mRNA. This localization ensures proper processing of mRNA, which is essential for stability and translation of mRNA into proteins. NUDT21 forms a heterodimer with CPSF6 or CPSF7, contributing to the CFIm (mammalian Cleavage Factor I) complex, which is integral to 3′ end processing of pre-mRNA. Proper functioning of NUDT21 and interactions within the CFIm complex are critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating gene expression, making NUDT21 a key target for studies related to RNA processing and gene regulation.
