SEE ALSO...

NTR3 Antibody (G-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NTR3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NTR3 (G-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NTR3 protein, also known as neurotensin receptor 3, plays a crucial role in mediating neurotensin effects, a neuropeptide involved in numerous physiological processes. Located primarily in central nervous system and peripheral tissues, NTR3 is essential for neurotransmission modulation and has been implicated in various functions such as pain regulation, metabolic control, and gastrointestinal motility. Notably, NTR3 interacts with other neurotensin receptors, including NTR1 and NTR2, which can influence intracellular signaling pathways that affect cellular responses to neurotensin. NTR3 activation in microglial cells has been shown to induce pro-inflammatory cytokine production, highlighting NTR3′s importance in neuroinflammatory responses. Using anti-NTR3 antibody (G-11) in research can provide valuable insights into neurotensin signaling in health and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-376561: NTR3 (G-11) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-376561 conjugates.
