SEE ALSO...

NPR-C Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NPR-C protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NPR-C (E-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NPR-C protein, also known as the clearance receptor, plays a crucial role in regulating natriuretic peptides, which are vital for maintaining cardiovascular, renal, and endocrine homeostasis. These peptides, including atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP), interact with NPR-C to modulate their physiological effects. NPR-C is responsible for clearing these peptides from circulation, thereby regulating their levels and preventing excessive signaling that could lead to pathological conditions. NPR-C plays a significant role in various diseases, including hypertension, congestive heart failure, and renal disorders, where natriuretic peptide system dysregulation is commonly observed. Using anti-NPR-C antibody (E-5) in research can provide valuable insights into these conditions and help explore potential therapeutic targets within the natriuretic peptide signaling pathway.
