Nkx-2.5 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Nkx-2.5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Nkx-2.5 antibody (A-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nkx-2.5, also known as cardiac specific homeobox protein (Csx), is a crucial transcription factor belonging to the Nkx-2 gene family, which plays a vital role in regulating the expression of genes specific to cardiac and other tissues. Nkx-2.5 is primarily located in the nucleus, where direct DNA binding influences the transcription of genes essential for heart development and function. This nuclear localization enables direct interaction with target genes involved in cardiomyocyte differentiation and cardiac morphogenesis.
