NKp30 Antibody (CLH9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NKp30 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-NKp30 antibody (CLH9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NKp30 plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in the activation of natural killer (NK) cells, which are essential for the body′s defense against tumors and virally infected cells. Located on the surface of NK cells, NKp30 interacts with ligands on target cells, triggering cytotoxic responses that help eliminate harmful cells. This interaction is vital for maintaining immune surveillance and preventing the proliferation of cancerous cells. NKp30 is situated on chromosome 6p21.33 and encodes a 190 amino acid protein that features a signal peptide, a V-type immunoglobulin-like domain, a hydrophobic transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmic tail. Notably, NKp30 lacks an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activating motif (ITAM), which distinguishes its signaling mechanism from other NK cell receptors. By cooperating with NKp46 and/or NKp44, NKp30 serves as a major triggering receptor in the cytotoxicity of NK cells, highlighting its importance in the innate immune response and its potential as a therapeutic target in cancer immunotherapy.
