    SEE ALSO...

NKG2-D Antibody (C7) is a hamster monoclonal IgG antibody that detects NKG2-D protein of mouse origin by flow cytometry (FCM). NKG2-D plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in the activation of natural killer (NK) cells and certain T cell populations, serving as a receptor for the stress-inducible protein MICA, which is often overexpressed in various epithelial tumors. The interaction between NKG2-D and MICA is vital for the immune system′s ability to recognize and eliminate transformed or infected cells, thereby contributing to tumor surveillance and overall maintenance of cellular homeostasis. NKG2-D is expressed not only on NK cells but also on γδ T cells and CD8+ αβ T cells, highlighting NKG2-D′s importance in both innate and adaptive immunity. Anti-NKG2-D antibody (C7) serves as an essential tool for researchers studying immune regulation and tumor biology, particularly given NKG2-D′s potential as a therapeutic target in cancer immunotherapy.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-23890 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

    Asked by: Cweed
The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.
