    SEE ALSO...

NKG2 Antibody (20D5) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects the NKG2 protein of mouse origin by flow cytometry (FCM). anti-NKG2 antibody (20D5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NKG2 plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in the activation of natural killer (NK) cells, which are essential for the body′s defense against tumors and virally infected cells. NKG2 proteins, such as NKG2-D, are expressed on the surface of NK cells, γδ T cells, and CD8+ αβ T cells, and interact with stress-inducible ligands like MICA, which is often overexpressed in various epithelial tumors. This interaction is vital for the recognition and elimination of transformed cells, highlighting NKG2′s importance in tumor immunology. The regulation of NK cell activity through NKG2 and associated receptors underscores the potential of targeting this pathway for therapeutic interventions in cancer and other diseases.

How can NKG2 (20D5): sc-53026 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: AbPolly
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53026 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53026 FITC).
