Nidogen Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Nidogen protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Nidogen (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nidogen protein plays a crucial role in the structural integrity of basement membranes, which are essential extracellular matrices formed during embryogenesis. These membranes provide a supportive scaffold for tissue architecture and are involved in cell signaling, differentiation, and migration. Nidogen functions as a critical linker between laminins and collagen type IV, facilitating the assembly of the basement membrane and ensuring stability.
