NgR3 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NgR3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NgR3 (H-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NgR3 protein, also known as Nogo-66 receptor-related protein 3 or RTN4RL1, consists of 441 amino acids and is a member of the Nogo receptor family. NgR3 is primarily localized to the cell membrane, where NgR3 features eight leucine-rich repeats, which are crucial for protein-protein interactions and signaling. NgR3 is predominantly expressed in the brain, particularly on the surface of neurons, but is also present in lower amounts in tissues such as the lung, placenta, kidney, mammary gland, skeletal muscle, spleen, and salivary gland. NgR3 plays a significant role in the regulation of axonal regeneration and plasticity within the adult central nervous system, making NgR3 vital for recovery following neural injury. The gene encoding NgR3 is located on human chromosome 17, which encompasses over 2.5% of the human genome, containing approximately 81 million bases that encode more than 1,200 genes.
