NFRκB Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NFRκB protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NFRκB antibody (A-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NFRκB, also known as nuclear factor related to kappa-B-binding protein, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression, particularly in immune responses and inflammation. NFRκB binds to specific DNA sequences, thereby influencing transcription of genes involved in T-cell activation, such as interleukin-2 receptor alpha-chain. This function is vital for proper activation and proliferation of T-cells, which are essential for adaptive immunity. NFRκB is predominantly expressed in brain, liver, spleen, testis, and thymus, and NFRκB expression is notably increased in acute myeloid leukemia, indicating potential involvement in cancer development. Multiple isoforms of NFRκB, resulting from alternative splicing, add complexity to regulatory functions and interactions within various cellular contexts.
